More people are experiencing this problem with certain JBL Bluetooth speakers. Shame really, because I would expect better from a good brand name like JBL. It can be fixed, but that comes at a price. The replacement battery is around £20 and it does not need a specialist to fit. There are tutorial videos online that will guide you through the whole process. Just search on YouTube. Update: I added a video below that shows how to replace the battery.
